DuPont to Acquire ChemFirst

DuPont has signed a definitive agreement to purchase ChemFirst, a global supplier of electronic chemicals and materials for the semiconductor industry and intermediates for the polyurethanes and associated industries. The acquisition of ChemFirst will is costing DuPont $408 million.

ChemFirst has operations in the USA, Scotland and Japan, with approximately 480 employees.
