New 27.00R49 Mining Haul Truck Tire from Titan Tire

Titan Tire Corporation, a subsidiary of Titan International, Inc., has added a new 27.00R49 size mining haul truck tire to meet increasing worldwide demand.

The Titan DTE4 radial off-the-road (OTR) tire features a deep lug tread pattern that provides added traction and long tread life. A popular size for use in coal mining and quarry applications, the 27.00R49 is designed with an open tread pattern to promote self-cleaning.

“The mining industry has been ramping up, and we are starting to see greater demand for tires in this size,” said Paul Hawkins, vice president of OTR sales. “The DTE4 will help meet this need while providing a deeper tread depth option.”
