New Brochure From EPMA Describes the Hot Isostatic Pressing Process and Its Application

Hot Isostatic Pressing of metal powders is a dynamic industry sector with many of its leading companies based in Europe. The European PM HIP Group (EPHG), a part of the European Powder Metallurgy Association, has now launched the ‘Introduction to PM HIP Technology’ brochure to help explain the HIP process, the benefits of using the process and case studies of the products that it can produce.

‘The brochure been developed in coordination and with sponsorship from EPHG Members, to raise the awareness of the HIP process and to better inform potential users of HIP technology’ said Andrew Almond, EPMA’s Marketing Manager.

The European PM HIP Group (EPHG) aims to increase the awareness of the PM HIP technology, with a broad focus on semi finished, Near Net Shape, as- HIPped and compound powder material products.
