Bemis Completes Acquisition of Walki Films

The Bemis Company have today completed their acquisition of Walki Films, a business division of UPM-Kymmene. The transaction was worth approximately $68.5 million.

Walki manufactures vacuum and modified plastic films for the food industry and will constitute the largest component of Bemis’ European packaging operations.

The purchase includes manufacturing plants in Finland and France, as well as 500 employees.
