Poliya, a manufacturer of polymers and composite resins, has inked a strategic collaboration and manufacturing contract with Novaresine.
Under the terms of the contract, Poliya brand products will be manufactured by Novaresine at the production plants in North Italy. Hexion Specialty Chemicals was previously operating these manufacturing plants.
Customized polyester resins, custom colored and highly performing gelcoats will be delivered by Poliya to Eastern and Central Europe, according to this strategic partnership. These resins and gelcoats have quicker response time, enhanced logistics. Costs and lead times are also decreased.
Buelent Oeztuna, Poliya’s Chief Executive Officer commented that the company is delighted that Novaresine has become an exceptional producer of Poliya products. He said that due to the increase in demand for the products, the company partnering the shares of the similar values is considered to be significant. The high-quality standards, potential and technical expertise of Novaresine will extend the European market share, he added.
This has become another important milestone in growth of Poliya following the purchase of Cam Elyaf Resins.
Novaresine’s CEO, Stefano Fioratti stated that this company has shown knowledge in the production of polymer, and its production potential and process design. He said that the company is elated about this partnership’s capability with Poliya and expects to commence the production during Q2 of 2012.
