BCS Industries Complete Acquisition of Cuyahoga Steel

BCS Industries (formerly Bluff City Steel) have completed their acquisition of Cuyahoga Steel and Wire, which has been renamed BCS Cuyahoga.

Memphis-based BCS were delighted at the opportunity to acquire Ohio-based Cuyahoga as it gives them an additional 70% processing capacity lifting their overall capacity to about 60,000 tons per month.

BCS supplies steel to the fasteners industry. The recent acquisition adds another product line to their range. They now have the ability to supply the large diameter segment of the fasteners industry.

The acquisition is also consistent with previous acquisitions, whereby BCS have acquired bankrupt or idled facilities and turned them into money making ventures.
