In tandem with its expansion plans, SABIC is finalizing plans to set up a fully registered company – SABIC China, and other offices in Beijing, southern China, Jakarta, Melbourne and Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition to its existing warehouse in Shanghai and storage facility in Shekou (Shenzhen), China, SABIC will also set up new warehouse facilities in China, along with four new ones in Ho Chi Minh City, Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland. With such improved infrastructure, SABIC hopes to better serve its customers around the region in Asia Pacific.

Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Ubaid, Vice President of SABIC's Polyolefins Strategic Business Unit, said, “SABIC firmly believes that the key to remaining competitive in Asia is to provide excellent customer service to the best of its abilities. We are very excited about the future of the Asian market especially China and hope to be part of its success, together with the partnership of our valued customers.”

SABIC now has its own technical support engineers in Singapore and Shanghai to be on site to help its customers and is also planning to employ more technical support engineers to help its customers improve the processing of their products.
