Bemis to Terminate Sale of Pressure Sensitive Materials Buisiness

In an announcement made today, Bemis have decided to terminate their $420million sale of their Pressure Sensitive Materials business to UPM-Kymmene, after the Department of Justice filed a complaint and got an injunction to block the sale.

Neither company plan to challenge the decision and pursue the purchase that was originally agreed to back in August 2002.
