AK Steel Completes Acquisition of Tube Business

AK Steel’s subsidiary AK Tube LLC has completed its acquisition of Central Tubing Facility (CTF). CTF was purchased from ArvinMeritor for about $67million.

The purchase agreement included a multi-year supply agreement of undisclosed value between AK Tube and ArvinMeritor.

CTF primarily produced stainless steel tube used in car and light truck exhaust systems. They supply materials to the USA and Canada from their facility in Columbus, Indiana, USA.
