Rosti Win Solid Employer Award

Rosti Polska has been awarded the prestigious, national “Solidny Pracodawca woj. Podlaskiego 2006” (“Solid Employer of the Podlasie Województwo region 2006”) by Media Partner Group, publisher of three leading business supplements for Polish National newspapers.

The injection moulder has invested substantially in its Polish operations over the past two years, and won the Award in very good company, alongside other Award winners Pepsi-Cola, International Paper, Lear Corporation Poland, Leroy Merlin and Media Market.

Mr. Jan Duniec, who joined Rosti as managing director Rosti Polska less than a year ago, is delighted with the Award: “I am very pleased that Rosti Polska has gained external recognition for the positive management of its employees”, he said, “It confirms that we are setting benchmarks as a reputable employer in the region.”

Rosti Polska was nominated for the award by the Bialystok Work Inspector, from the region’s labour law office, against stringent judging criteria based on the ‘employment reliability index’. This index, a feature of developing employment in Poland, assesses working conditions, punctuality of payment, social conditions, employee training and skills development, as well as local opinions about the company within the community, and corporate cooperation within its local environment.

Rosti Polska has generated extraordinary growth over the past two – three years. The company employs upwards of 900 people in the high season. Mr Duniec concludes: “I would like to thank my management team for this major achievement and everyone at Rosti for their continuing efforts and hard work. I am sure that this Award will encourage further progress.”
