Why are you here today at ACHEMA?
SAIP is an Italian manufacturer of pulsation dampeners and hydrochromatic accumulators. Dampeners and accumulators are used in the process industry to control and smooth out the flow and to improve production. We're here with our standard complete range of products, plus some innovations and new products.
We have dampeners with special diaphragms and bladders, which are virtually resistant against any corrosive and aggressive liquid or chemicals. The advantage of this construction is it's a very compact and cost efficient execution. This is our new thing here at ACHEMA. We have already launched it on the market. It has already been field tested by some oil and chemical companies. It has proven to be reliable and we have big hopes of it.
What makes you unique compared to other people in the market?
Our big advantage is we are a flexible manufacturer and a flexible supplier. We don't offer just products, we offer solutions to the customer, so we have done a lot of work for customers who are desperate to find a solution.
We try to customize as many of our products as possible to fit the customer's needs, to really give a unique solution for every application. That's our strength, which we can do because we are quite a small company in respect to bigger competitors. Bigger companies tend to be quite stiff and rigid in their processes, whereas we can adapt easily to the customer's needs.
What are you hoping to get out of ACHEMA this year?
As usual, to get new contacts, but to also see and greet old friends and co-workers here at Achema. Additionally, we of course to present our new products.
