Ethylene-Chlorotrifluoroethylene - ECTFE Glass Fibre Filled

Polymer Type

Thermoplastic

Advantages

Significantly increased tensile strength and flexural modulus, increased heat distortion temperature, reduced linear expansion and mould shrinkage compared with unmodified ECTFE.

Disadvantages

Significantly reduced elongation at break and notched izod impact strength compared with unmodified ECTFE. Mouldings can be highly anisotropic.
