Machinability

The machinability rate of the UNS C22000 bronze is 30.

Welding

Brazing, soldering, gas shielded arc welding, butt welding, and gas shielded arc welding are various methods used for welding the UNS C22000 bronze. It is suggested that spot welding and coated metal arc welding methods are not used for welding this alloy.

Forging

The UNS C22000 bronze can be forged at 760 to 871°C (1400 to 1600°F).
