Introduction
Magnesium is a highly versatile metal which is non-toxic, and has excellent machining qualities. It exhibits a capacity to dampen and absorb vibration and electromagnetic waves. Magnesium alloys are nonferrous metals with low density, good ductility, moderate strength and good corrosion resistance. Magnesium M1A alloy is available in extrusion, forging and sheet forms. The strength of M1A alloy is relatively low in any form.
The following datasheet gives an overview of magnesium M1A alloy.
