Two legendary names in the forged wheel industry have come together to create a blockbuster strategic alliance. Greg Weld Design™ and Alcoa Wheels will combine efforts to design, manufacture, market and sell some of the most advanced forged alloy wheels available for the automotive aftermarket.
Driven by innovative products and leading-edge technology, Greg Weld Design™ and Alcoa Wheels will exceed the needs of the most demanding 4x4 or “Tuff Truck” enthusiast. Greg Weld Design’s new Tru-Forged™ wheels by Alcoa will offer unparalleled one-piece forged wheel strength. Combined with Greg Weld’s design and engineering input, these wheels will offer head-turning styling that is uniquely Greg Weld.
All Tru-Forged™ wheels will be hot-forged from a billet of 6061-T6 aerospace alloy for maximum strength and durability. The one-piece design is 100% CNC machined to perfection. The lightweight design, 3500lb. load rating and lifetime limited structural warranty are unmatched in the industry. Available in 20, 22 and 24 inch diameters and up to 14 inches wide, Tru-Forged™ Tuff Truck wheels are designed for the newest 4x4 tire sizes. All Tru-Forged™ wheels will feature a unique polished finish that carries a limited 5 year warranty supported by Greg Weld Design™. These wheels will be shown for the first time at the 2007 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, October 30 through November 2.
