DuPont announced recently the addition of two new distributors for DuPont Specialty Colorants and Additives business – part of DuPont Coatings & Color Technologies – in the United States. The company's growing network of agents increases availability of DuPont custom liquid colorants and fine particle dispersions.
Lipscomb Chemical of Long Beach, Calif., will conduct operations in the West and Southwest regions of the U.S.; G.R. O'Shea Company of Itasca, Ill. will serve the Midwest U.S. In the coming months, DuPont will add distributors to cover the remainder of the U.S., as well as Europe and Asia.
"Our customers value new and effective formulation solutions," said Jim Whiting, president, G.R. O'Shea Company. "Our technical knowledge, combined with DuPont color and dispersant science will help our customers solve difficult problems and improve their processes and products."
DuPont Specialty Colorants and Additives serves customers who need higher performance or tighter specification tolerances than those currently available. Combining DuPont knowledge and experience with Six Sigma methodology provides customers with added product value and significant cost savings through yield and/or throughput improvements.
