PolyOne Corporation (NYSE: POL), a premier provider of specialized polymer materials, services and solutions, today announced that PolyOne Distribution has been named the primary distributor of thermoplastic products for DuPont Engineering Polymers in North America. Ashland Distribution will no longer supply DuPont Engineering Polymers thermoplastic products in North America following a 90-day transition period.

DuPont Engineering Polymers' products to be distributed through PolyOne include: Crastin PBT polyester resin, Delrin acetal resin, Thermx PCT high performance polyester, Zenite liquid crystal polymer, Hytrel TPC-ET thermoplastic polyester elastomer, Zytel HTN high performance polyamide, Minlon mineral reinforced nylon resin, Zytel nylon resin and Rynite PET polyester resin. DuPont will maintain additional regional distribution in Canada and Mexico.
