Chelsea Boss Sells Stake in Russian Aluminium Giant for $2 billion

Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abromovich has just sold his remaining 25% share in Russian aluminium producer Rusal. The stake in Rusal was sold to Oleg Deripaska for a reported $2b.

The sale of the remaining share of Rusal follows on from his recent sale of a 25% holding in September for a reported $3b.

Rusal accounts for about 75% of Russia’s primary aluminium production and about 10% of global production.
