Dow Corning Ranks 12th in the List of 25 Best Indian Companies

Dow Corning Corporation in India has been named among ‘India’s Best Companies To Work For 2010’ by Great Place to Work® Institute India, ranking 12th among the Top 25 Best Companies to work for and second in the category of Manufacturing & Production Industry.

‘Best Companies To Work For 2010’ is the largest and most comprehensive employee-based study conducted annually in the region, with employees participating from more than 400 companies.

Dow Corning employees in India were asked to assess the company on parameters like the degree of employees’ trust in the company they work for, pride in what they do and camaraderie between the people they work with.  

Dow Corning implements multiple initiatives to ensure high levels of employee satisfaction. The company also provides employees tools and resources for managing work life balance. Employees in India and other sites are able to find a balance between their professional and personal lives as they can enjoy flexible working hours. When needed, the employees are also allowed to work from home helping them to successfully integrate work and life.

Dow Corning ensures professional training and development of employees by offering coaching, mentoring, on-the-job training as well as international career development opportunities and assignments to broaden their experiences.
