Sikkens Wood Finishes, manufactured by AkzoNobel Paints, LLC, now offers its popular Cetol product in a new waterborne formula: Sikkens Cetol® Waterborne (WB) SRD.
Developed within Sikkens’ Next Wave Technology platform, this translucent exterior wood finish provides an easy-to-use, one-coat application that results in the distinctive “Sikkens” look.
The multi-use Cetol WB SRD, formulated for siding, rails and decking, in addition to other exterior wood surfaces, features a hybrid alkyd/acrylic formula that offers superior penetration, color retention, reliable adhesion, and easy soap and water clean-up. The new Cetol WB SRD is even safe for use on exterior hardwoods such as mahogany and teak.
The product includes an innovative transoxide pigment system, which can be mixed in-store from one base, allowing less inventory to be stocked and conserving shelf space. Cetol WB SRD is available in a full selection of eight wood-tone colors: Natural, Natural Oak, Cedar, Teak, Butternut, Redwood, Mahogany and Dark Oak. These pigments also provide superior UV protection and wood clarity.
