Quickparts has launched the QuickCutCNC to offer additional finishing options such as anodizing and nickel plating for CNC machined parts from Aluminum 7075 or 6061.
The new secondary finishes are post machining procedures, which increase the toughness of aluminum by including an external coating to the machined components. Electroless nickel plating offers protection against corrosion and abrasion. It also offers improved rigidity and solderability. Anodizing enhances rigidity, abrasion and corrosion resistance. It also offers electrical protection and the capability to dye a variety of colors on the anodized components. Currently, the colors provided by the QuickCutCNC include red, green, gold, black, blue, and transparent light silver.
