Safe Technology, a main developer of fatigue analysis software for finite element models in the world, has declared that fe-safe components are available for Isight in order to speed up the product design optimization for reliability and durability.
fe-safe component is utilized for the precise calculation of the survival possibility at various service lines, the safety factors on work stress, the occurrence of fatigue cracks, from FEA.
Isight from Dassault Systèmes’ SIMULIA offers an open system to the engineers, scientists and designers for including simulation and design models, which were created with different CAE, CAD and further software applications, in order to automate the several simulation executions. Isight has enabled the users to save time and enhance the product optimization through statistical methods like Design for Six Sigma or Design of Experiments (DOE).
Ian Mercer, Safe Technology’s Software Director stated that this new fe-safe for Isight operates on Abaqus FEA models and has released the files. It has offered the opportunity for the clients to modernize the fatigue analysis, at the same time integrate it with use of further applications with an automated simulation workflow. This will support the clients to speed up the product optimization for reliability and durability.
