The Distributors Group Europe (DGE) is set to showcase wind energy solutions from Dow Corning at the HUSUM WindEnergy 2012 trade fair scheduled to take place at Messe Husum & Congress in Husum, Germany from September 18 to 22.
The products that will be on display at the trade fair from Dow Corning are its silicone sealant solutions sold under the Dow Corning brand and Smart Lubrication solutions sold under the Molykote brand. Both the set of products find applications in the wind energy industry. The Dow Corning products will be displayed in Hall 1 at stand D07. HUSUM Wind Energy is considered to be one of the most important international trade fairs on wind energy.
The performance and reliability of wind turbines are enhanced by the solutions developed and supplied by Dow Corning in conjunction with distributors such as the DGE. The high performance lubrication and silicone and silicone-based technology delivered by Dow Corning are the result of innovation driven by 70 years of expertise in the field. The solutions from Dow Corning enable the generation of lucrative and robust wind power generation systems. Both the silicone sealing technology and the Molykote lubricants are employed in wind turbines to counter the developmental challenges posed from brakes, gearboxes, bearings and rotor. Corning and The Dow Chemical Company have an equal stake in Dow Corning. Greater than 50% of Dow Corning’s sales are outside the United States. Molykote solutions, which have serviced customer lubricant requirements for more than 60 years, are available through a worldwide network of 3000 channel partners.
