Alcan Creates New Company in Slovenia

Alcan has announced that it has created a new Slovenian company, called Alcan Koper d.o.o., to market aluminum and magnesium die-cast products for the European automotive industry, manufactured at Alcan Tomos d.o.o. Alcan is a majority shareholder of Alcan Tomos d.o.o.

“With a view to remaining a preferred supplier to the automotive industry, Alcan is convinced that Alcan Koper d.o.o. will be a strategic partner of choice in the automotive supply industry. The new company will support the expansion of Alcan Tomos d.o.o. business and improve its competitive market position,” said Michel Jacques, President and Chief Executive Officer, Alcan Engineered Products.
