Kaiser Aluminium to Explore Sale of Assets

Following on from their filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on February 12, 2002, Kaiser Aluminum have announced that they will begin exploring the possibility of selling off one or more of its bauxite and alumina assets, or even its primary aluminium assets.

Despite having made this announcement, they have not indicated that they are following up on any specific transactions or proposals.
