Air Products and Nanotechnologies Form Joint Development Agreement

Air Products and Chemicals Inc. and Nanotechnologies Inc have established a joint development agreement. Air Products have also made in equity investment in Nanotechnologies.

Under the terms of the agreement, Air Products will have exclusive commercial development efforts in select strategic market segments. Through these co-operative efforts, it is hoped that Nanotechnolgies will be able to commercialise applications more quickly.

Nanotechnologies possesses proprietary pulsed plasma technologies which they have used to produce nanoparticles such as silver aluminium and copper, as well as other oxides. Applications for nanoparticles range from transparent coatings, to electronics through to antimicrobial products.
