$12.5million Body Armour Order for Simula

Simula have received a new order for Small Arms Protective Inserts (SAPI) body armour plates for the US Marine Corps. The latest order is worth $12.5 million and is scheduled to be delivered by June 2004.

The latest order takes the total value of SAPI orders placed on Simula by the US Army and Marines, over the last 8 months to approximately $33 million and makes them by far the most substantial supplier of body armour to the US defence forces.
