Stimir Win Alcan Supplier Award

At Alcan Iceland’s annual Suppliers’ Day, held recently at Alcan’s ISAL smelter, Stimir of Iceland was presented with the Continuous Improvement award.

This is the third time that the Supplier’s Day has been held, during which Icelandic suppliers have the opportunity to discuss their services with senior Alcan managers.

Three awards were presented by Alcan, one for Safety and one for Value Improvement.

Stimir’s Continuous Improvement award was in recognition of the successful implimentation of many good proposals over a period of many years.

Stimir hf. is a solution provider to the primary aluminium industry, with particular focus on the Rodding Plant. All aspects of design and fabrication are undertaken at Stimir’s own facilities, ensuring total quality control and on-time delivery.
