Nichimen to Sell Steel Business to Sumitomo

Japan’s sixth largest trading company Nissho Iwai – Nichimen Holdings has announced that it intends to sell off its steel products business to Sumitomo Corp., Japan’s fourth largest trading house. The deal worth 12.9 billion Yen is set to take place on August 1.

The business unit is involved with stainless steels, specialty steels and other related steel products.
