Nova Innovene to Increase EPS Capacity at All European Sites

NOVA Innovene announced today its intention to immediately debottleneck all of its EPS manufacturing sites in Europe. The EPS capacity will be increased from 350 to 410 KT, with the additional volumes coming on stream gradually over the next 12 months.

“As the largest European producer, we are de-bottlenecking our plants in order to satisfy the growing demand for EPS from all our customers”, said Martin Pugh, NOVA Innovene’s Managing Director. “This demand growth is primarily driven by activity in the construction market, with insulation now being recognised as the most effective way of improving the energy efficiency of buildings”.

“We are utilising our strength in process technology to achieve capacity additions at extremely low capital cost”, said Peter Ayrey, EPS Business Director. “This will enable us to strengthen our cost position, which is a critical part of our strategy.”

“We are very excited about the prospects for our EPS business, and we intend to fully participate in the expected future growth in the market”, added Martin Pugh.
