Goodrich to Supply Wheels and Electric Brakes for LOT Polish Airlines 787 Dreamliners

LOT Polish Airlines has selected Goodrich Corporation to supply wheels and electric brakes for its addition of eight Boeing 787 Dreamliners to its fleet.

In addition to the eight firm orders, LOT Polish has purchase rights for an additional eight aircraft. With this fleet expansion, LOT Polish will be the first European carrier to operate Dreamliners. The new aircraft are expected to enter service beginning in October 2008.

According to Brian Brandewie, President, Goodrich Aircraft Wheels and Brakes, "We are very pleased to be selected by LOT Polish Airlines to supply Goodrich's wheels and electric braking technology. This award marks a milestone for our team as Goodrich's technology has been selected by the Dreamliner launch customers in both Europe and Asia. We look forward to working with LOT Polish Airlines as they add these innovative new aircraft to their fleet."
