DuPont to Sell Invista to Koch Industries

DuPont have agreed to sell their business Invista, formerly DuPont Textiles and Interiors to two subsidiaries of Koch Industries, namely KED Fiber Ltd and KED Fiber LLC. The transaction is due to be completed in the first half of 2004.

The sale of Invista contributes to the ongoing transformation of DuPont. Invista will also become part of an environment that is more committed to its growth and success at Koch Industries.

Invista is a fibers and intermediates manufacturer specializing in materials such as nylon and lycra/spandex, providing materials for applications such as clothing and carpets.
