Bayer’s New Thermoplastics Testing Center

The Thermoplastics Testing Center of Bayer MaterialsScience AG, formerly the technical services laboratory at Bayer’s site at Krefold-Uerdingen can now provide a one stop service for the testing of thermoplastics. A service which they can offer both internal and external customers.

They can test thermoplastics ranging from ABS through polyethylene and polypropylene to polycarbonates and their blends using complete production lines and automated injection moulding machines. Quantities can range from 1.3 to 100kg and moulds are available to carry out tests in accordance with most standards such as ISO, UL and CAMPUS.

Bayer’s testing facilities feature state-of-the-art automated machines and robots to ensure accuracy and reproducibility.

The Thermoplastics Testing Center is happy to deal with customers who want simple one-off tests as well those who want comprehensive barrages of tests performed on their materials. They can also cater with customers who require confidential testing performed.
