Effect of Energy Saving Glass in A Building

Background

In the architectural field, many kinds of energy saving glass have been developed and have begun to be used for residential houses and office buildings.

Insulated Glazing Unit (IGU) with low emissivity glass (Low-E-glass) shows high thermal insulation performance and high solar shading performance.  However, the energy consumption on the residential house or the office building with the energy saving glass depends on the climatic conditions of the regions where the residential house or the office building are located.
