Arizona Chemical Introduce Rosin Modified Phenolic Resin Line

Arizona Chemical announces the introduction of Sylvaprint® HSR (Heat Stable Rheology), a unique resin chemistry which allows for the production of thermally stable vehicles and inks.

The Sylvaprint® HSR (Heat Stable Rheology) resin line allows for production of gelled vehicle rheology while using little or no gelling agent relative to conventional vehicles. More importantly the resultant finished ink displays rheology which is insensitive to fluctuations in press temperature relative to ink made using conventional resins. This is especially important in high speed heatset and sheetfed printing as well as waterless and low fountain solution environments. Maintaining rheology at varying press temperatures results in less dot gain, faster make ready and less waste.
