Planetary Ball Mill – The Premium Line

Fritsch is proud to introduce their revolutionary Planetary Ball Mill – The Premium Line. Compared to conventional planetary mills, Fritsch has increased the grinding energy by more than 250%. Planetary Ball Mills can be used to crush soft, elastic to hard, brittle and fibrous samples to fineness as small as 100 nm.

Unique Design Improves Performance

The new Premium Line of ball mills can achieve speeds of up to 1100 rpm thanks to a unique SelfLock concept that anchors the grinding bowl completely within the planetary mechanism offering superior safety and unmatched imbalance tolerance. The grinding process can be conducted dry, in suspension or even in controlled atmosphere e.g. vacuum or inert gases.

Ease-of-Use

The easy-to-use touch screen display enables simple access to the required performance data and operating options. Fritsch Premium Line’s grinding bowls are available in sizes from 20 to 500 ml accepting a maximum particle size of 10 mm.
