Advantages |
Long glass fibre gives the highest tensile strength, oxygen index, and flexural modulus, notched izod impact strength and heat distortion temperature for alkyd grades within Plascams. Good elongation at break and mould shrinkage compared with other modified grades of alkyd. |
Disadvantages |
Highest linear expansion and cost compared with other modified grades of alkyd. |
