Introduction
Magnesium is a silvery-white metal that is used as an alloy element for zinc, lead, aluminum, and other non-ferrous alloys. Magnesium alloys are lightweight with high machinability. They are designated using the ASTM and SAE system in which the first part indicates the two main alloying elements in the alloy and the second part represents their percentages.
Magnesium ZC71 is a wrought alloy. The following datasheet gives an overview of magnesium ZC71-T6 alloy.
