Heat Treatment
Magnesium AZ10A alloy is heat treatable, it can be strengthened by the process of precipitation hardening. In this process, the alloy is treated in a solution and then subjected to aging.
Applications
Magnesium AZ10A alloy is typically used for manufacturing aircraft fuselage, extruded plates, rolled sheets and plates, photoengraving sheets and speaker cones.
