Introduction

Aluminium / aluminum is a silverish white metal. It is the third most abundantly available element. Aluminium / aluminum can be combined with one of these elements – silicon, magnesium, manganese, copper, and zinc, to form aluminium / aluminum alloys.

It is possible to use aluminium / aluminum alloys to create stiffer and lighter designs than traditional uses of steels. Aluminium / aluminum 6020 alloy is a wrought alloy type with excellent corrosion resistance. It is an unleaded variety. Aluminium / aluminum 6020 alloy is known for its high corrosion resistance, excellent machinability, good joining characteristics, and very good response to anodizing.

The following datasheet will provide more details about the aluminium / aluminum 6020 alloy.
