With MultiVial, any lab can be streamlined: The intuitive benchtop device is designed for flawless vial management. Unparalleled accuracy can be achieved in laser marking and weighing for both plastic and glass vials, ensuring data integrity and efficiency in every sample.
Intuitive and Collaborative
MultiVial processes plastic and glass vials ranging from 1 ml to 50 ml, capable of handling up to nine SBS racks of mixed vials in a single run.
The system can be seamlessly integrated into any existing workflow, thanks to its collaborative arm and compact footprint. MultiVial's open REST API can facilitate seamless integration with other devices, providing straightforward access to the data.
Laser Marking

Laser etching labware can often create challenges due to inconsistency. However, MultiVial's laser etching capability has been optimized and rigorously tested to quickly and consistently mark a wide range of glass and plastic vial types.
Equipped with configurable marking options, the tool laser-etches directly onto the vial, simply integrating with the upstream processes.
- Laser marking eliminates the need for inks and their associated tedious or costly consumables, instead permanently etching numbers, bar codes, or QR codes directly onto the surface
- A line scan camera automatically identifies the marking area
- The system is compatible with padded glass and plastic vials/tubes
- Compatible with Micronic, Azenta (FluidX), Thermo Fisher (Matrix), and many other vial types.
Accurate and Intuitive Weighing

MultiVial's collaborative design enables technicians to work safely in shared spaces, and its intuitive interface ensures new users require minimal training. It also provides weighing accuracy up to five decimal places and can mark up to 864 1 ml vials, or a combination of sizes, in a single run.
- The instrument automatically detects racks as they are placed, leveraging smart rack detection technology
- Users can prioritize a specific rack using the priority selection feature
- Integrated antistatic bars and a draft shield enable the balance to tare rapidly, facilitating efficient weighing.
Sample Tracking

Effective sample tracking is essential for optimizing operational procedures. By integrating 2D and 3D barcode scanning, the system can immediately record and monitor sample data, guaranteeing continuous traceability from start to finish. This approach minimizes manual mistakes, strengthens the reliability of data, and considerably accelerates operations. Through live tracking and automated documentation, the laboratory can increase its total output while maintaining peak levels of precision and regulatory compliance.
- Optimize laboratory workflows
- Prevent human errors
- Boost throughput, enhance efficiency, and ensure data integrity.
