Introduction
Magnesium is a silvery-white metal that is found in large deposits of dolomite, magnesite and other non-ferrous alloys. It tarnishes slightly when exposed to air. It also reacts exothermically with most acids such as hydrochloric acid. Magnesium alloys have good machining properties and corrosion resistance.
The following datasheet gives an overview of magnesium EA55RS-T4 alloy.
