Introduction
Aluminium / aluminum 2319 alloy is a heat treatable wrought alloy that possesses excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking. It is a filler alloy that was developed for use with aluminium / aluminum 2219 alloy.
Aluminium / aluminum 2319 alloy provides higher strength and better ductility than aluminium / aluminum 4xxx filler alloys when welding aluminium / aluminum 2xxx alloys. It should not be used for welding aluminium / aluminum 5xxx series alloys.
The following datasheet will provide more details about aluminium / aluminum 2319 alloy.
