Introduction

UNS designations C50100 to C54200 are called phosphor bronzes. Phosphor bronzes are copper alloys containing predominantly tin and phosphorous. Tin provides these alloys increased corrosion resistance and strength, while phosphorous provides them increased wear resistance and stiffness.
