Extended drill bits were used by a rail industry customer in hand-assembly work to help workers to reach beyond structural members to attach materials.
Eu2+-doped SrAl2O4 (SrAl2O4:Eu2+) was synthesized by a conventional solid-state reaction process and consolidated by pulsed electric current sintering.
Various test methods have been used to study hot corrosion. Immersion testing (or crucible testing), which was the first laboratory test method, is not considered reliable for simulating the gas turbine environment.
Aluminum alloys have high ductility and corrosion resistance. The aluminum 3003 alloy has moderate strength and good corrosion resistance. The strength of this alloy can be increased by cold working.
The high silicon bronze UNS C65500 has moderate strength and good corrosion resistance. The conductivity of the UNS C6500 is lesser than the conductivity of unalloyed copper. The properties and applications of UNS C65500 are similar to that of C64200.
The high strength modified copper UNS C19400 has good electrical and thermal conductivity. Various alloys of copper differ in their behavior based on the alloyed elements. The UNS C19400 is anti-corrosive and ductile.
