Thermo Scientific’s Handheld XRF at Pittcon 2009

This video shows a live telecast of Pittcon 2009 at which Thermo Scientific exhibited its next-generation Handheld XRF.

The Niton XL3t analyzer’s innovative GOLDD technology enhances the detection of light elements, sensitivity and measurement times. The analyzer is 10 times faster and three times more accurate than conventional Si PIN detectors. It is a reliable tool for recycling the scrap metal, sorting aluminum, titanium and bronze alloys, and achieving good performance for tramp and trace element analysis.

Keith Bisogno, Ian Jardine, and Jon Shein from Thermo Scientific presented the innovation minute of Pittcon 2009.
