35 Travel Bursaries Available for Students Attending 2008 World Biomaterials Congress

We are pleased to announce that the journal, Biomaterials, in collaboration with the WBC2008 Organizing Committee, has decided to make available 35 Student Travel Awards of €400 each, for young scientists presenting their work at the WBC2008. Eligible for these student travel awards are PhD students that have submitted an abstract for presentation at the WBC2008 and completed a brief application form with motivation. So do not hesitate any longer and submit your abstract to be considered for these awards!*

The deadline for submitting abstracts for the 8th World Biomaterials Congress is in less than two weeks: Sunday 30 September 2007. We strongly advise you to not wait until the last hour, due to anticipated heavy internet traffic.

The Congress will be held in the Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre, The Netherlands, from 28 May until 1 June 2008. This is your meeting, so your attendance or scientific contribution is the basis for a successful congress. From our side, we will do our very best to be a good host. Together we will make this a splendid congress! So prepare for Amsterdam 2008, the city awaits you!
