Battenfeld and Hebei B&S Form Agreement to Advance Chinese Business

An agreement between the extrusion division of US-based Battenfeld and Chinese, Hebei B&S Group (HBS) will see them advance their mutual business interests in China.

Under the agreement Battenfeld companies will designate HBS as a key account and share new designs in extrusion equipment, information on emerging applications worldwide in flexible packaging, pipe and profile, provide technical advice on product development and keep the them appraised of the latest trends in polymer consumption and other relevant market data that is useful to the development of the Chinese business. They will also provide HBS with regularly scheduled sales and sevice calls, training and technical seminars.

In return HBS will make Battenfeld preferred vendors for extrusion equipment and keep them informed about future projects allowing them to submit proposals for equipment and technical support. They will also share information with Battenfeld on market trends in China for flexible packaging, pipe and profiles, customer and end-user requirements, other market information, technical feedback on equipment performance and process needs that can be used in the engineering of extrusion.

The agreement will give both party’s a competitive edge in extrusion technology and product development.
