Hexagon AB Acquire Polymer Producer Thona Group

Swedish based Hexagon AB have agreed to acquire Belgian-based Thona group. The deal is expected to close on April 30 and is awaiting approval by german competition authorities.

Thona Group have operations in Belgium, the Czech republic, USA and Canada where they have capacity to manufacture rubber and TPE compounds.

Hexagon, through its subsidiary Hexagon Polymers is a leading polymer supplier in Europe. The acquisition of Thona will make them a world leader.
