Toyota Selects Goodyear Tires for its 2009 Corolla and Matrix Models

A variety of tires from The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company have been selected as original equipment fitments for several models of the popular Toyota Corolla and Matrix.

The 2009 Corolla and Matrix will come standard with the following Goodyear tires, depending on the specific vehicle model: P195/65R15 Eagle LS-2; P205/55R16 Eagle RS-A; P215/45R17 Eagle RS-A; and P215/45R18 Eagle F1 All Season.

These announced selections represent among the first original equipment fitments for Goodyear's new ultra-high performance all-season tire, the Eagle F1 All Season. Also available as a replacement choice for many cars, the Eagle F1 All Season features carbon fiber reinforced sidewalls to help keep the shoulders on the road for crisp responsiveness and maneuverability. The tire's TredLock Technology helps provide biting edges for excellent wet traction, locking together for enhanced grip in quick turns.

Goodyear tires are original equipment on many vehicles from Acura, Audi, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Hummer, Infiniti, Isuzu, Jeep, Land Rover, Lexus, Mazda, Mercury, Nissan and Toyota. Traditionally, more new vehicles in North America are equipped with Goodyear tires than any other brand.
